Firefox3 正式发布了！
对Web开发者来说，不能算是一个非常美妙的事情。

当Firefox3 正式发布后，我们迫切的需要让Firefox2与Firefox3共存于我们的电脑中，可以方便于我们的查看与测试。如果需要多台电脑来查看是一件很头疼的事情。
下在我们来介绍FF2与FF3共存的方法

Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition

这样就无需覆盖你在系统中原来的Firefox2版本。Firefox3便携式版本使用自己的profile，它并不会储存到系统中，这与系统中原来的版本互不相干。
基本上Firefox 3的所有功能都能运行，也可以安装扩展件和主题风格。书签也可以被导入，只要指向你原来版本的profile文件夹中书签备份bookmarks.html文件将其导入即可。

其安装步骤不再赘述，一路NEXT即可，只是在选择安装目录时需要注意，如下图，需要为它指定一个安装目录。
如：我们可以指定为 C:\Program Files\MozillaFirefox3\FirefoxPortable
这样它与Firefox2就没有冲突了。
我们打开Firefox2，看到一切正常，如图。
关闭Firefox2，打开Firefox3（文件FirefoxPortable.exe）发现可以运行，只不过是英文版。
稍有遗憾的是Firefox2与Firefox3可以共存但不能同时打开运行。虽然有所不便，但已经可以在一台电脑上运行这两个程序了。如果你需要他们能同时运行，需要作一些设置。具体为需要给便携式Firefox 3创建另一个profile。

Run Multiple Firefox Profiles Simultaneously
This post is a direct response to a comment from the user Digitarius on the post where I detailed my Firefox Security Profile. He assumed that it is not possible to run multiple Firefox profiles at the same time and I would like to use this article to explain how it is possible to run multiple Firefox profiles simultaneously. The prerequisite is of course that at least two user profiles have been created. User profiles are created in the Firefox profile manager which can be started using the parameter -profilemanager.
Firefox needs to be closed to be able to start the Firefox profile manager. I usually fire up the run box using Windows R and type firefox -profilemanager. If you have troubles let me know and I explain it in details.
Firefox can be started as usual which loads the first profile. The command firefox -p profile -no-remote can be used to start Firefox that is using another profile where “profile” is the name of that profile. If you wanted to start the profile securep you would use the command firefox -p securep -no-remote
I would probably create a shortcut to Firefox on the desktop using the parameters if I would be using it more often. To start the profilemanger and select a profile from that gui remove the profile name from the command, e.g. firefox -p -no-remote
